Ref:261Role: Internal Account Manager Salary: £22,000-£25,000 D.O.E + CommissionLocation: BarnsleyHours: Monday to FridayBenefits:

The role:Youll be working as a key part of our sales and ecommerce teams in this multi-faceted sales position. Your duties will include: Supporting Ecommerce and Retail customers by communicating with new and existing customers who need support Managing your own portfolio of live wholesale accounts Prospecting for potential new customers, primarily by phone (telemarketing) but using other communication channels as appropriate Managing inbound website and sales enquiries by telephone and occasionally in-person at our purpose-built showroom Maintaining customer records in our CRM system Supporting other aspects of sales as requiredExperience required:The ideal candidate will have some sales experience probably gained in a telemarketing environment together with great organization skills and an aptitude for record keeping. They will also have: Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas Working knowledge of relevant computer programs i.e. MS Office 365 and CRM systems Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficient in English Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints Persistent and results-oriented Patient and able to handle customer rejection The ability to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detailPersonal Skills A flexible approach to work with a collaborative manner Strong organisational skills with a focused approach A creative mindset Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines Effective communicator Team playerEducation:
  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
  • Business development: 1 year (preferred)
  • Sales: 2 years (preferred)
