We are currently recruiting for a highly professional and experienced Training Provider. This client has over 35 years experience supporting learners.As a result of expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Apprenticeships with Adult Learner Loan experience.This organisation is experiencing significant growth so an excellent opportunity for development and progression.This company offer a starting salary between £35000-£37500, Pension Scheme, 32 days holidays, business mileage at 45 pence per mile and a wide range of other benefits.This is an office based position, which offers flexibility to work from home. The position will also require travel to support other delivery centres throughout YorkshireTypical duties of the Head of Apprenticeships" To manage, develop and grow the apprenticeship and loan curriculum offer in line with the strategic plan." To implement outstanding quality programmes that deliver excellent outcomes for learners" To manage a diverse delivery team to achieve key performance targets" Lead on implementing new apprenticeships and loan qualifications that meet local, regional and national demand." Lead with the Quality and Performance Manager on implementing outstanding quality of provision that meets the needs of learners and employers." Manage and improve the performance of all delivery staff in order to meet and exceed key performance targets set in line with three year targets." To take overall responsibility for all aspects of high quality teaching, learning and assessment within the range of Apprenticeship Programmes" Develop networks and relationships with key stakeholders." Manage, train, coach and motivate the delivery team who will be responsible for quality teaching and assessment of the Leadership and Management Programme" Provide accurate data for performance on learners starts and completions." Budget Management and supporting visits from Awarding Bodies, Ofsted etc" Manage the delivery of highly effective initial assessment and information advice and guidance for all apprenticeship and adult loan courses." Lead and implement working practices to ensure compliance with all funding guidance and audit requirements through each aspect of the apprenticeship and adult loan curriculum offer." Complete outstanding tenders to win new business opportunities for the future potential growth" Account manage stakeholder relationships in consultation with the Director of Business Development to maintain highly successful working relationships that will lead to growth on the adult provision within ITS Group." Deliver innovative, engaging and motivating teaching and learning sessions to our learners with the objective being to support progress through their learner journey and excellent outcomes." To keep up to date with all key funding and qualification updates required for all provision including apprenticeships, adult education provision, traineeships, ESF projects, adult learner loans, classroom based learning and End Pont Assessment changes.Skills and Experience required for the Apprenticeship Manager" Hold a level 3 Teaching Qualification alongside Maths and English at Level 2" Assessors Award is highly desirable with the willingness to work towards" Extensive experience managing and delivering apprenticeship programmes" Hold a proven track record in managing performance through people to include Assessors, IQAs, Tutors and Support Staff" Experience of managing budgets and Quality Assurance/Audits processes" Comprehensive knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and Loan Qualifications" Experience of using MIS and e-portfolio systems" Knowledge of Ofsted Education Inspection framework" Experience with supporting Bid Writing and Business Development Opportunities" Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicleThis position is being managed by Pertemps Newcastle.
