Position: Embedded EngineerPackage: up to £47,000 salary + 10% pension, share and bonus scheme and Life insuranceOffice Location: BarnsleyLocation of Work: Very Flexible Remote Working AvailableThe Role: A successful electronics device business in Barnsley, which was voted most admired company to work for require an Embedded Engineer to join their multidisciplined R&D team to work towards the development of life saving devicesthat are used around the globe. Although their office is in Barnsley they work to a very flexible remote working model.A position is now available for an Embedded Engineer to join their engineering team to work towards the development of a new range of industry leading controller solutions. Our client is an established R&D focused business, with a stellar reputation builtupon providing cutting edge, industry leading products for the last 30+ years.The successful Embedded Engineer will be expected to work closely within project teams and take responsibility for all matter embedded software related on multiple projects, this will include brand new development and updating existing products. You willhave 4+ years industry experience in a similar role with strong experience programming in C on RTOS and BareMetal environments, be familiar with a host of protocols including SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet etc and be comfortable with programming microprocessors(ARM, PIC, NXP etc). Specific experience with Renesas processors, regulated software design and agile methodologies will really make your CV standout.This role will best suit an Embedded Engineer who is looking for the chance to work throughout the full design lifecycle on a range of life saving devices, whilst being given plenty of opportunity to develop new skills with the option of working remotelymost of the time.Skills Required:
