Job Description

Are you a qualified and experience Electrician Does becoming a Lecturer/Teacher interest you Would you like to down tools and start a new career in TeachingFIND are currently working with a leading College who are growing their Electrical Installation team.Were keen to talk to candidates who are currently working in the sector as an Electrician who may be interested in exploring a career in Teaching.Youll receive a full training & coaching package, supported through a Teaching Qualification and the support with classroom delivery.As a practicing Electrician, you have the most up to date sector experience. Youll be supporting the new Electricians of the future to qualify in Level 3 Electrical Installation & set them up for a career as an Electrician.A career in Teaching is rewarding & flexible. Youll receive benefits such as a Teachers Pension Scheme, 47 days annual leave + bank holidays and a training package to support you with obtaining your teaching qualification.Youll be delivering theory & practical teaching sessions to groups of 16-19 year olds from our state of the art facilities in South Yorkshire.Role requirements:

  • L3 or above qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Industry experience, working as an Electrician (either domestic or commercial)
  • A passion for your vocation & interest in supporting young adults to become Electricians
These roles are full time & permanent contracts.You will be starting on a salary between £28,000 - £35,000. Once qualified, Electrical Installation Lecturers can progress up to £40,000 for teaching roles.Theres lots of opportunity for progression above being a Lecturer - roles like Program Manager, Curriculum Manager, Faculty Director are offered.
