You’ll be trained, developed and accredited so you’re equipped with the skills and knowledge to talk about their savings, investment and protection products and to deal with more complex enquiries made by their existing, potential members and supporting intermediaries.You’ll be responsible for generating new business on behalf of the Society by answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to both new and existing members and you’ll proactively manage prospects and applications. You’ll work closely with the Lead Business Development Specialist and support other departments across the business.The successful candidate:Our client is looking for someone with the right attitude and skills to help spread the word about the Society and deliver their market-leading products and services.You’ll need to be a team player but also be able to work alone and you must be a confident communicator with people at all levels. Youll have great attention to detail and be able to keep calm under pressure and be quick to learn new things. You won’t mind rolling your sleeves up and helping your colleagues with other general administrative duties or for external events outside of working hours.Previous experience of working in financial services or a similar industry such as banking / insurance or relevant qualifications you hold / working towards would be desirable, but not essential.
