Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join the team.Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE.Location: Barnsley, S75.Job Type: Temporary to permanent.The Role

  • Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.
  • May be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
  • Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
