Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Business Support Officeron behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Barnsley (S70).You will be required to support theChild Protection teams.Duties of the Business Support Officer will include:

  • Minute taking at Child Protection Conferences
  • Organisation of conferences and completion and dissemination of minutes within timescales.
  • Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries providing advice, guidance, signposting and support to internal and external customers across a diverse range of service functions in line with legislation, regulations policies and procedures.
  • Organise and co-ordinate meetings, diaries and appointments, ensuring schedules and venues are appropriate for attendees.
  • Input, check and maintain a variety of electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring information is accurate and stored appropriately.
To be successful in this role as a Business Support Officer, you will have:
  • Working in an administrative/office environment undertaking a variety of tasks
  • Experience of minuting meetings
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills
  • Proven experience of working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to interrogate problems and follow through to logical conclusions.
  • Ability to word process information directly onto mobile devices at speed and with accuracy
This post is full time 37 hours per week Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of £12.59 per hour PAYE, or £15.41 via UmbrellaMeetings are held in Barnsley town centre buildings as well as other offices/care homes across the borough.Please apply today for a chance of an immediate interview!What Reed can offer you as a temporary employee:
