Job Description

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Finance Business Partner for a growing business within their business unit based in Barnsley. This varied role will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of finance and financial controlfor the entire business unit.The RoleReporting into the Business Unit General Manager & Group Head of Finance and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:

  • Responsible for the finance and financial control of the entire BU
  • Advises and supports the Business Unit Manager and operational staff by providing and interpreting analytical information to enable effective decision making
  • Provides support in ensuring that the rules, principles and the internal control requirements of the Group are met
  • Ensure the Business Unit meets all its financial reporting obligations
The CandidateTo be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
  • CIMA or other relevant accounting qualification
  • Prior experience in Project Accounting essential
  • Ideally worked in an engineering environment
  • Knowledge of group reporting an advantage
Salary & BenefitsIn return, the successful Finance Business Partner will receive the following:
  • £50,000 - £60,000 base salary + bonus
  • 25 days holidays
  • Hybrid working patterns from the Barnsley office
  • Friendly working environment
