Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a key client of ours based in Barnsley, looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their Shipping department. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills and experience.As an Administrator you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our shipping department. You will be responsible for coordinating, organising, and managing the day-to-day shipping and logistics activities to ensure our products are deliveredefficiently and accurately. Your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will be invaluable in this role.Key Responsibilities of the Administrator:

  • Process and manage all shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to arrange shipments
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise
  • Communicate with suppliers, providing updates and addressing inquiries related to their shipments
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and databases for future reference
  • Record all data and reports for management - advanced excel required
AdministratorKey Skills:
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft packages, including Excel (V-lookups and Pivot tables)
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Previous experience of working in a Administrative role is required
