Job Description

Were currently recruiting a dedicated Store person to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in healthcare on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.As a Store person, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. What youll be doing
  • You will be working in refrigerated environments, provided with the necessary equipment for working in a cold environment
  • Providemenus,take orders from patientsand support with all dietary and allergen queries.
  • Prepareand deliver all refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunchanddinnerservice.
  • Cleardown wardareas and wash up dirty dishes ensuring that the kitchen is fully prepared for next service.
  • Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Offer a great customer service byalwaysputting the patient first
  • Conduct weekly stock-takes
  • Oversee and be responsible forall deliveries
  • Store and rotate goods correctly
Who you are
  • Awareness of food & hygiene standards
  • Passionate about patient care, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware at times you willcome in contact withpatients that are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • It doesnt matter if youve never worked as aPick and Pack Assistant before. What does matter to us the most, is taking pride in what you do and a willingness to learn and go the extra mile for our patients.
