Reception TeacherAre you an experienced teacher, seeking a new opportunity to start in January 2023 Tradewind Recruitment is working with a school in North London, which requires a Reception teacher until July 2023, possibly until Christmas 2023.The SchoolThis is a well-resourced, 2 form entry Church Of England school located in Barnet borough, North London. Led by an established Headteacher and senior leadership team, there is a welcoming, busy atmosphere at the school Graded as "good" after their last Ofstedreport. The school is well served by public transport, close to an underground station, with a small carpark and there is on-road parking available.The headteacher is seeking a Reception teacher who is a great team player and who embodies the schools Christian ethos and values.The RoleThe headteacher is ideally seeking an experience Reception teacher with an outstanding understanding of the EYFS curriculum.You will be planning with the parallel class teacher each week to share ideas and resources. Many of the children speak English as an additional language, so experience of this would be ideal.You will need to have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of the early years foundation stage curriculum as well as phonics (the school uses Read Write inc). The school also uses the Tapestry system for recording observations and notes and whilstexperience would be most welcome, full training will be provided.The school is ideally seeking an experienced teacher for this role but they may consider an ECT who has EYFS experience.
