An exciting role for a GasSafe qualified Plumbing Manager / Heating Engineer to lead the team and also support with commercial growth opportunities.Role info:Plumbing Manager / Heating Engineer - GasSafeEast Barnet Office Base | £40,000 -£50,000 + Bonus SchemeMonday to Friday Full-time, PermanentWho we are:We are a nationally growing team who are looking to employ a self motivated person to target key customers and generate new customersRole Duties:+ Field sales experience to target key customers and generate new customers+ Proven sales record+ Management of emergency, urgent, routine and planned jobs.+ Management of related servicing, repairs and installations as required for our customers+ Carry out post inspections on any heating/electrical installations carried out and provide reports as required.+ Carry out and record health and safety checks on both our plumbers and external contractors.+ Manage the out of hours standby rota for your team+ Monitor sales and cost price mix - and in collaboration with management team, ensure margins are maximised whilst maintaining a value proposition for the customer+ Carry out van stock and vehicle checks+ Assist with the management of procurement of tools and materials for the team+ Be flexible to accommodate the needs of the business and its customers utilising new technologies where available+ Communicate any barriers to the effective delivery of your service area at the earliest opportunity+ Use information available to identify customers needs and ensure seamless and excellent customer service to customers+ Contribute to the development and effective operation of the team.+ Understand the team goals of the Department and work collaboratively to achieve them+ Recruitment and selection of new staff+ Manage Health and Safety Risk assessments for the team+ Understand performance standards for your role to deliver on objectives and targets agreed at performance management meetings+ Work with the plumbers to continuously improve their knowledge and credibility of Plumbing and Heating+ Carry out any other duties reasonably allocated by the Directors within the responsibilities of your postCOVID-19 considerations: All appropriate controls are in place to protect staff.About You+ At least 5 years plumbing and heating experience+ Leadership ability+ Sound commercial ability+ Organised+ Serious about standards and health and safety+ Ideally connections within the commercial sectorInterested Apply here for a fast-track path to the Hiring ManagerApplication notice… We take your privacy seriously.
