Insight Analyst / Data Science Engineer - Digital Disruptor implementing a greenfield digital transformation: This is an opportunity for an ambitious Data Science Analyst, with a strong background in Cloud Platforms (ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), but open to Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure) to influence our clients data science strategy working in an agile environment with / evaluating bleeding edge technologies.General Background:Education: STEM Bachelors degree minimum. Strongly prefer at least a partial blue-chip background; ideally technology-first companies, digital disrupters, mobile telcos, challenger banks, etc. - with a structured and analytical (but not theoretical) approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:*Strong focus on the use of data within a customer experience capacity coupled with strong commercial acumen.*Within data science strategy deliver actionable analytics and prediction solutions for a variety of functions within the business.*Drive thought leadership to evolve machine learning capabilities to support the companys strategy.*Responsible to help identify and implement advanced analytics and data science solutions for driving the companys growth and value*Assist in building a robust analytics platform, helping the business understand all data which will give insight on all customer interactions.*Develop and implement best practices covering areas such as model development, test design, and deployment.*Ability to deliver advanced analytics solutions in a large scale cloud environment*Experience translating business context and create opportunities through actionable insight from data to drive business value.*Experienced stakeholder manager with great communication skills is essential*Experience using Python with experience on GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Datalab, Dataproc, Cloud ML, Tensorflow)*Machine learning experience, with commercial experience using skills such as regression, decision trees, random forests, boosting, clustering, GLM, Bayesian hierarchical is desirable.*Deep Learning experience is desirable*Data modelling (unstructured, semi-structured and structured including relational, document graph and key-value pair) Required skills
