Job Description

Job Title: Gas Trainer / AssessorLocation: North LondonPay rate: up to 40k per annumHours: FTDuration: PermanentOur REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the North London area.Starting soon, the college are looking for an outstanding Gas Trainer / Assessor.The Hiring Manager says: The ideal person would be able to teach advanced plumbing and gas and have experience with onsite NVQ assessing.The College:· Offers industry standard facilities that are among the best in London· Outstanding leadership and managementThe Role:The Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor will deliver training and on-site assessment against the Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering (potential for level 2 and 3 onsite plumbing where qualified). The role will include high quality training, coaching support, assessment planning, monitoring and formal reviewing of the apprentice’s progress towards meeting the apprenticeship programme and supporting the candidate through to end point assessment.The role will involve travel to a range of employer premises to coach and assess candidates, and formal training will take place on the college premises.What you will need:

  • A recognised teaching qualification

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Gas and be Gas Safe Registered:
