EVENTS MANAGER (Sales role) required for a prestigious establishment in the North London area. Transport will be required for this role ideally should you live in the local area, however live in accommodation is a possibility.As EVENTS MANAGER you will be responsible for the reactive and proactive selling aspects of event sales and co-ordination covering conferences, events and weddings. For this opportunity of EVENTS MANAGER, you will haveprevious sales and events co-ordination / administration experience within hospitality, along with a proven ability to achieve sales budget / business targets. You will manage the EventsSales team to ensure they are successful in all aspects of the sales processes within your department and be responsible for training and performance management of your team. As EVENTS MANAGER, an element of your role will be to assist with proactively selling this property, networking to develop local business links / generating new leads to increase sales and to maintain existing and return business. You willassist to organise and host fam visits for local Companies to promote company facilities. You will review and action all aspects of events guest feedback, ensuring that the day to day running of the events sales department runs smoothly.The role of EVENTS MANAGER will require you to work at a week-end (generally a Saturday), along with your events sales team on a shared rota basis to maximise event sales. Some evening appointments may be required, however mainly working officetype hours Monday to Friday.The salary for the role of EVENTS MANAGER (Sales role) is given as COMPETITIVE.
