Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant!Location: Barking and DagenhamPosition: SEN Teaching AssistantStart Date: ASAPLong-Term, Full-Time, Initially until July with Potential Extension into Next Academic YearAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs Do you have the empathy, dedication, and skills to support children with Autism and complex needs If so, we invite you to join a dynamicprimary school community in Barking and Dagenham!About The School:A two-form entry primary school, committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The team is dedicated to ensuring every child receives the personalised support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Your Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in:

  • Providing dedicated support in their specialised intervention room.
  • Working closely with a small group of six to eight children with autism and complex needs.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Creating a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress to tailor support effectively.
