Warehouse Pick & Despatch SupervisorsLocation: Bardon, Coalville LeicestershireFull Time: 4 on 4 off shift pattern Salary: £28,500 annually Are you looking for a new opportunity and challenge Do you want to work for a forward thinking and growing Organisation Oakland International are a multi-temperature supply chain logistics specialist and an ethical family business.We are looking for a hands-on individuals to work as Warehouse Despatch and Pick Supervisors, someone who enjoys a challenge, can use their own initiative, working proactively on their own and as part of a team.The successful candidate will be based at our Bardon, Coalville Site in Leicestershire, which currently employs approx. 250 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a new opportunity working within the food industry and wanting to developtheir career.The successful candidates will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between the hours of 7am and 7pm or 10am and 10pm with an hour unpaid lunch break.Supervisor Responsibilities:Working as part of the Warehouse Supervisory team you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Despatch/picking process to ensure the correct and timely dispatch of goods to the warehouse whilst simultaneously driving continuous improvement
  • Managing and ensuring consistency to the Company People Management Process
  • Assist the chilled warehouse management in conducting briefings, appraisals and on-going performance reviews ensuring
clear communication at all times.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Company objectives.
Requirements for the Role:
  • Proven track record managing a Warehouse picking/Despatch process from start to finish
  • Experience at managing at a middle manager level
  • Fully conversant with warehouse processes.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Clear understanding of systems to ensure food safety and environmental compliance
  • PC Literate: An ability to use MS packages including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational needs
  • Has a positive can-do attitude
  • Experience within a similar role desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
