You will be involved in rolling out new processes, training staff on new processes and helpingcreate a culture of Continuous Improvement. This role will also be working alongside other business units to ensure we are delivering the best customer service possible.The role is to improve our overall Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators via a structed continuous approach in both the Main Distribution Centre as well as stock points throughout the UK. The role does not currently include a team however this may changeas we start to see the benefits being delivered.Accountabilities
  • Uphold an environment that puts peoples health, wellbeing and safety and engagement at the forefront.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the Supply Chain projects & initiatives along with wider collaboration with the wider Belron UK management team.
  • Work as part of the Supply Chain Central Operations team to translate strategy into improvement activities and operational/tactical plans that will contribute the ongoing development of the Supply Chain business strategy.
  • Support the delivery of exceptional customer service which exceeds customer service targets for both the external and internal customers.
  • Support the optimum use of business assets including property, vehicles, materials and technology.
  • Continuously seek and search for opportunities to share and implement best practice ideas throughout the supply chain.
About youWe are looking for an experienced Process Improvement Manager or Continuous Improvement Manager with a background in supply chainThis role requires an individual with a curious mindset, a positive and resilient attitude towards change, innovative with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent presentation and communication skills.Ideally you will be qualified in Prince 2 methodologies (or similar), and Lean 6 Sigma would be advantageous.You will be detail and action orientated with experience of leading cross functional projects and take personal accountability for the quality and accuracy of your work.
