We offer an excellent salary of up to £9.50 per hour dependent on experience and training, plus other benefits.What will you be doing as our Stores & Warehouse OperativeThis isn’t your typical warehouse role; it is extremely varied where no two days are the same. You will need to be able to react quickly to changing priorities. You will be responsible for:- Picking & packing goods for export and in-house build- Handling high value parts and large components- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed- Painting - spray and brush- Shrink-wrapping- Unloading deliveries- General housekeeping- Driving (vans and 7.5 tonne lorry) between our 3 sitesWe have a huge variety of parts ranging from nuts and bolts, to large heavy steel castings and high value machined components. The majority of our orders requirethe packer to operate our overhead gantry crane and reach and counter balance forklift trucks. The successful applicant must be a competent and experiencedcrane and forklift operator. You must also hold a full UK driving licence.Stores & Warehouse Operative working hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm or 8am – 4.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.Annual Christmas bonus and 33 days holiday per year.What makes you our ideal Stores & Warehouse OperativeYou will be cooperative and helpful with previous experience of using an overhead crane, forklift, 7.5 tonne driving.
