We are operator of 5 material assets and participate in 2 Joint Ventures operated by others, and we employ >800 people.This role will be accountable for the optimisation, risk managementand compliance of existing commercial agreements, ongoing management of high-quality relationships with key commercial partners and for planning and economic analysis rigour and assurance across all North Sea assets. If required, the role will be also accountablefor leading the development and delivery of new commercial agreements.The commercial aspects of this role may principally be tagged to a specific North Sea asset, however, as a member of the agile pool there will be opportunities to support work across anyof our assets as the need arises following regular prioritisation by our Finance leadership team.Key Accountabilities:Agreement Management, Commercial Optimisation and Risk:Protection & promotion of BPs interests, value optimisation of existing agreementsthrough deep understanding and compliance with contractsManagement of export and transportation agreement compliance, including bookings/notifications and amendmentsManagement and resolution of JV commercial disputesCreation and delivery of Commercial ActionPlans to support progression of asset project activityManagement of JV partners and Commercial Stakeholders Creation and development of high-quality relationships with commercial partnersSupport to Finance Manager(s) on Joint Venture ManagementPeople Development:Providetechnical support to Finance Analysts & Co-ordinators, share expertise and grow planning & analytical capability in the North Sea PPM pool. Offer and engage in mentoring when appropriateCompliance with Investment Governance (IG) and Economic Analysis AssuranceEnsuredelivery of robust and consistent IG process including FM GIAAP compliance and FM economics EEM compliance.Provide independent assurance of economics for out of region FMs.Provision of analytical oversight, guidance and assurance.
