Are you someone who is ready for a new challenge and keen to make a difference to families and young children Are you a manager with experience of working in Family Centres If so, please read on as we may have the opportunity for you.Working for an established provider for parents and young families within a family centre, they provide families with a structured, safe and nurturing environment for parents and their children. The daily running and management of the centres are in line withrelevant legislation and standards and provide accommodation for up to families from aged 16+ and their babies.. An exciting time for the organisation as due to expansion plans, a new service will be due to open around April this year. Were recruiting for a skilled Care Manager to join their team and would love to hear from you if you meet the criteria.The role of the Care Manager will be to provide the daily running and management of the 5 bedded family centre which is OFSTED regulated and supports families and their children in providing a safe and supportive environment. The manager will be working onsite, supporting and overseeing the day to day running of the service, supervising the teams and delivering and managing care plans, dealing with any high end safeguarding concerns, and providing the general health and safety and well-being of the familiesand all staff.Ideally you will be a positive, caring and supportive manager who is approachable, committed to making a difference, an excellent team player and someone who has solid communication and organisational skills. You will be committed and willing to uphold theright values and behaviours of the service.You will ideally hold a Level 4 or equivalent in Families/CYP and have current and previous experience of working in a similar setting. This role is permanent, and based on a 35 hour week Monday to Friday but with flexibility to work weekends where needed.1 in 6 weeks on -call duties ( phone) required.
