Job Description

MOT Tester ~ Vehicle Technician wanted urgentlyRespected regional group ~ Fixed term contract£15 per hour ~ 8:30 am to 5:30 pm ~ Monday to FridayOur client, representing a fast-paced car brand is looking for a Vehicle Technician who can join the team on a fixed term contract to carry out MOT Testing and repair work. The role would suit an experienced Technician looking for temporarywork with valid MOT Certification. The fixed term period would be for an immediate start and initially last for five consecutive weeks. Depending on events this period could be extended or even become permanent - if the candidate was seeking full employment on a full time basis.Our client is open-minded about seeing people with a variety experience as long as you are in the habit of performing regular MOT inspections as part of your recent or current role.Key Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the success of the workshop by maintaining a high standard of work with quality as the overriding consideration.
  • Using the variety of tools and equipment available to you to service and repair a range of vehicles.
  • Take responsibility for your immediate working environment to ensure cleanliness and tidiness is maintained at all times.
  • Carry our minor repairs in preparation for re-testing failed vehicles
Key Requirements:
  • Level 2/3 Qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • MOT Qualified is essential
  • Full, clean driving license (essential).
