Job Description

Classroom Assistant (Student Specific)Location: AttleboroughSalary: £17,454 - £18,068 pro rata, per annumHours: 32,5 hours per week, term time onlyJob Type: Fixed Term ContractOur client is seeking to appoint a Student Specific Classroom Assistants to join the Academy’s Student Support Team.The Academy joined the Trust in June 2020 which was an exciting and important development for the school. CARE therefore has a genuine meaning within their school as they want the Academy to be a place where these values are seen in all aspects of their work together.The RoleThis position is linked to a Year 8 student with high functioning autism who will need help and support in lessons to be able to access their learning and make progress. As such, the role is fixed term for the duration of the student’s academic career atthe Academy (Year 8 to Year 11 and possibly thereafter, Sixth Form).The Student Support Team is a very close-knit and effective group of individuals who provide high quality and personalised care and support in the belief that this is key to student success and enjoyment during their time at the Academy.The successful candidate will need to be flexible, resilient, hardworking, and committed to the role.
