Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Quality Testing Technician for our well established client based in Atherstone on a 12 month contract.The team on site are currently responsible for making sure the materials used in the factory are performing to the correct level and checking all processes are being done correctly.The role will be a mixture of Lab based work along with office based.The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing materials to make sure they are fit for use the the client, writing up reports to confirm if the checks and products are in line with company policy and to ensure the customer gets the correct product /Material.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMajor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test production material using various test equipment
    • XY Machine
    • Lens machine
    • Schiefer machine
    • Tegramin machine
    • Mecmesin machine
  • Achieve testing target of approx. 30 jumbos per shift
  • Update excel spreadsheet files with test results and release as required
  • Assist with test method development
  • Problem solving and Troubleshooting of test method issues
  • Conform to all safety and PPE requirements
  • Required to work shifts
  • The job also requires performing other duties as assigned
Rate of pay is £14.00 per hourHours of work : 36.5 hours per week, 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 1pm Friday ( this is subject to change )The ideal candidate will come from a quality background and have worked in a production environment Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
