This includes replacing all network components in all Regional offices and warehouses across the UK and IRL, so a great piece of work to be involvedin. The role will be split between BAU and project work and needs a Network Engineer that can hit the ground running and also has a keen interest in WIFI solutions with hands on experience troubleshooting problemsLOCATION: Atherstone (hybrid working pattern)TYPE: Contract (initial 8 months)Essentials:-Hands on experience of Wi-Fi, switches, routers and firewalls -Wireless LAN (WLAN, Controllers, Access Points, etc.).-Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Motorola/Zebra-Design, liaison and testing of all changes to the network (including software updates, hardware changes and configuration changes).-Experience planning network upgrades and new network deployments.-Experience installing, maintaining and configuring routers, firewalls, switches, WLAN access points and WAN optimisers.-Experience configuring and maintaining VPNs.-Knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies such as MPLS.-Experience patching and installation of structured cabling.-Creating and maintenance of supporting processes and documentation.-Supplier/contractor management experience.The team we are exclusively recruiting for are one of the most fundamental areas within the business.
