Job Description

LGV1, HGV1, C+E, LGV 1, HGV 1, CLASS 1 DRIVERS WELCOMEStaffline is currently recruiting 25 x HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our Food Distribution client based in Tamworth. Clean Trunking Work. Guaranteed Shifts. Fixed Starts. Brand New FleetThis customer is now busier and as a result we need approximately 25 new drivers across days, afternoons and nights, 7 days a week.Reward Package for the role of HGV1 driver:PAYE rates including your holiday pay in lieu of accrual for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:Weekday Rotas (5 days)

  • Daily Bonus of £16.56
  • £28.02 per extra shift bonus (6thshift worked)
  • 9.6 hours a day guaranteed (48 hours if you work 5 days)
  • Monday to Friday Days - £13.31 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £14.92 per hour
  • Saturdays - Day £14.57 / Night £16.09 per hour
  • Sundays - Day £15.67 / Night £17.27 per hour
    • Weekend Rotas (4 days – Friday to Monday)
  • Daily Bonus of £20.70
  • Weekend Bonus of £56.04 + £28.02 per extra shifts bonus (for 5thand 6thshift worked)
  • 10 hours a day guaranteed (40 hours if you work 4 days)
  • Monday to Friday Days - £13.31 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £14.92 per hour
  • Saturdays - Day £14.57 / Night £16.09 per hour
  • Sundays - Day £15.67 / Night £17.27 per hour
    • Pleasecontact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued(Rates shown above),which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.Your Time at WorkAs an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 Depot Trunking work delivering food around the UK. Our client is offering amazing peak rates/terms and conditions, long shifts with average 11+ hours and guaranteed shifts. In return for your commitment we can offer start times that suit you. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply. Regular work every weekend.We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.Our Perfect WorkerAs an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have:
  • 3 months HGV driving experience
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DQC
