Job Description

Job Title: Modern Foreign Language Teacher(French)Location:AshingtonContract Type: Full time, Long term to cover a vacancySalary: $120 - $200Time : 8.30AM - 4.00 PMAre you an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher seeking a new opportunity in Ashington GSL Education is looking for a passionate MFL (French) Teacher to join our team and inspire students to explore and embrace different languages and cultures. If you have a strong command of a foreign language and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Language lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Teach one or more foreign languageFrenchup to KS 4 students.
  • Promote cultural understanding and appreciation of different languages.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements:
  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS) and a degree in Modern Foreign Language or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Fluency in French language with excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop their language skills.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education).
