Job Description

Our client, a leading engineering company, are seeking a skilled and passionate Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team.   • Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance procedures, emphasising on breakdown prevention.
  • Install and modify equipment as required, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement reoccurrence prevention plans using available resources.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team, ensuring clear and effective communication across departments, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers.
  • Operate access platforms, such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers, safely and efficiently.
  • Utilise your computer skills to access information, manage emails, and complete reports.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise by training and mentoring apprentices.
  • Champion a safe working environment, endorsing positive behaviour and leading by example in adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Be flexible and willing to undertake any other duties that may reasonably be expected.
Desired Skills:
  • A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in developing preventative maintenance procedures and implementing effective breakdown prevention plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in operating access platforms, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, and other relevant engineering equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for accessing information, managing emails, and generating reports.
  • A passion for mentoring and training others, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and leading by example in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
