Job Description

Role: Relief Support WorkerSalary: £9.77 per hour (including 12.07% annual leave payment)Location: AshfordAre you looking for a job that works around youDo you enjoy going out for activitiesAre you passionate about supporting people with disabilitiesThe young adults we support enjoy activities and keen to learn new skills and improve exist ones so this position will involve participating and taking them for activities e.g., playing rounders’ and taking them swimming.We are currently recruiting for a Relief Support Worker to join one of our supported living service based in Ashford, Kent. You will have the opportunity of supporting 3 young people with a mix of needs and disabilities as part of a fantastically passionate and dedicated team that always aims to provide active and positive behaviour support.Here at United Response we are driven by our mission to provide person-centred support and as such you will have a varied role which will involve having a positive and creative approach to support work, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating a fun and friendly environment
  • To be a successful Relief Support Worker you must firstly be passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share in our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest and strong. You should be a patient and resilient individual who is willing to invest time in getting to know the people we support and understand what care best supports their needs. Previous experience of working within social care is beneficial but not compulsory.In return for your hard work you will receive first class training (including certificates and formal qualifications in Behavioural Support and Adult Social care up to NVQ5) and:
  • £9.77 per hour (including 12.07% annual leave payment)
