Job Description

Job Title: Project Administrator *WFH or the Office + Early Friday finish*Department: Research & DevelopmentLocation: AshfordSalary: £24k - £28kReasons to work at this company:

Hours: 35 hours per week, 1-2 days a week in the office, ideally a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Friday finish at 2pmCompany culture: Fast moving, fresh and dynamic company who have a skilled and passionate team who believe in providing the best client service.As a Project Administrator youll work in a costings team of 5 individuals with similar responsibilities. Youll also work closely with the Consulting team to ensure open and clear communication about the progress of claims.Your key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of client cost data for reports
    • Reviewing and checking incoming records from clients
    • Using client data to determine eligible costs, and calculation of the same for inclusion within the claim
    • Scrutinising quality of information provided and raising appropriate queries
    • Making decisions / assumptions where needed. Communicating this with the client, with colleagues and on file for review
    • Maintaining the working file to ensure all information, calculation, communications, and notes pertinent to the claim are recorded
    • Presenting the file for review and updating for any review points as required
    • Monitor queries and ensure responses are received
    • Manage changes & amendments as required
    • Update client report with figures for claim
    • Update CRM with figures for claim and fee information
  • Quality Control
    • Ensuring information received from clients is accurate and complete
    • Ensuring procedures and methodology are followed and applied consistently
    • Ensuring consistent and accurate use of internal systems (MERCURY, CRM)
    • Role modelling exemplary customer service in all activities
  • Engaging with clients
    • Requesting records / additional info / missing info
    • Provide detailed analysis and breakdowns where required
    • Attending meetings with clients or their representatives to provide more information on costings
Skills and experience required:
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel
  • Previous experience within a Payroll/Purchase ledger/Project Administration position or equivalent would be an advantage
  • The ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Commercial acumen to understand how a company works
