Job Description

Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design and manufacturing business in Ashford, Kent.Recruiting for a New Product Introduction Lead, the successful candidate will serve as the technical contact between the client and the departments. Ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about project deliverables and that projects are being updated.Optimising our ERP system to work with our clients requirements while adhering to GMP and regulatory requirements during the process of transferring projects to our manufacturing plant.Main Duties

  • Review of client briefs
  • Calculating labour costs/ labour allocation/ labour efficiency/ quotations
  • Support and work closely with Production, Procurement, Production Engineering, R&D and Quality
  • Manage the internal stage gate process for NPI
  • To control the projects to successful outcomes, and within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • To provide written and verbal reports and briefings of program and project status to senior management, staff, customers, external partners, and funding providers.
  • To continually develop program and project management processes and practices.
  • To be the point of contact for clients
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing and an ERP system like Syspro or another
  • Experience in lean and delivering process improvements.
  • Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English. Ability to make decisions based on a knowledge of the business and an understanding of the business impact.
  • Must be able to inspire and motivate and demonstrate strong influencing skills.
Working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm and offering very attractive remuneration plus 8% non-contributory pension, 25 days holiday (plus BH), Simply Health Medical Scheme and Life Insurance, this is an opportunitynot to be missed.Diamond Search Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in regard to this vacancy.
