Job Description

Spicerack, a growing Digital Creative Agency, is looking for an experienced and skilled UX Designer to join our team of digital experts. You will be working with clients to understand customer/user needs, map out customer journeys and develop validated wireframesfor websites, e-commerce sites, and web applications. As part of the design team, you will work closely with designers and developers to ensure we deliver the best customer experience.The role will be based in the office a minimum of 3 days per week where COVID guidelines allow for office working. During busy project periods you may be required to be in the office more days a week and also attend meetings at clients offices.Spicerack is a small but well-established team based at Bristols Paintworks. We work with a wide range of interesting clients, including Symprove, McCormick, Hills Pet Nutrition, and Global consumer trends platform Foresight Factory. We offer a range ofservices, including campaign production, website design and build and application development. Were an equal opportunities employer and have recently been recognised for our apprenticeships as BTC Small Employer of the Year 2020About you:You should have at least 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer working with an agency or across multiple clients. You will have an interest in CRO and eCommerce and have demonstrable experience delivering UX projects for eCommerce clients.You should be able to work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who can show initiative, understands best practice, and who enjoys working directly with clients.Key Responsibilities:

  • UX Audits & Competitor research
  • HotJar/Google Analytics analysis/review
  • Running UX and IA workshops with clients and internal teams
  • Customer Journey Mapping
  • Wireframing
  • Prototyping
  • A/B/n testing
  • Writing briefs for designers to implement UI designs from your UX work
  • Organising and running user validation sessions
  • Supporting the running of user research projects for clients
  • Contributing to internal training session on UX best practice
