Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Night Services Coordinator (Registered Mental Health Nurse/Registered Learning Disability Nurse) to fill a full-time role (37.5 hours per week)based in Arnold.The salary for this Night Services Coordinator job is £40,571 - £45,020 per annum + £5k welcome bonus & benefits.Duties:

  • Have line management responsibility for the whole Hospital
  • Support and advise staff in their clinical practice and to monitor the standard of care given, ensuring that it reflects the hospitals standards and policies
  • Monitor staff in direct patient care programmes and activities
  • Embrace those managerial duties that require them to respond to night emergency situations, and the deployment of staff
  • Be the administrator of incidents/accidents that need to be referred to a higher body
  • Be either ward based during part of the night, or peripatetic providing input into a group of wards across the site
  • Liaise closely with the appropriate Ward Managers responsible for the 24 hour continuing responsibility of a ward
  • Develop recognised and acceptable standards of care affecting the night service and will be expected to work an agreed number of day shifts per year to attend appropriate meetings, thus ensuring that policies and philosophies are being developed to reflectthe full 24 hour service and to complete their mandatory and statutory training
  • Ensure that both themselves and those staff working nights are fully conversant with existing hospital policies and procedures
  • Develop the clinical role of the night nurse practitioner, using reflective practice skills
Requirements of the Night Services Coordinator:
  • RNM/RNMH
  • NMC registration and a valid live pin
  • Post-registration experience
  • Management Training/previous responsibility desirable
  • Be double vaccinated against Covid-19 and to provide evidence of this before you are able to commence employment with us, or provide a valid medical exemption
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
