Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor (12 Month Fixed-Term)Grade 6/7 - Starting salary £32,234 with potential career progression within the post (those with relevant experience and qualifications will start at Grade 7 - £36,922)37 hours per week, Monday to FridayLocation: Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Bestwood Lodge, Arnold, NottinghamNottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to recruit a highly motivated professional with recent, relevant experience of providing Health, Safety and Environmental advice within a large, high risk employment situation.The successful candidate will contribute to the work of the Risk and Assurance Team by providing health, safety and environmental risk management advice, guidance, and support to line managers. They will also be expected to foster a positive safety culture where proportionate risk controls contribute to the efficiency and safety of the Service.It is an essential requirement for the post-holder to hold or be actively working towards a NEBOSH diploma or NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety and IEMA Certificate in Environmental Risk Management or have relevant recent experience.
