Job Description

Red sector Recruitment has just had a new and exciting Vacancy come up within the NHSCT for a qualified Social worker - A child and Adolescent Mental Health PractitionerJOB SUMMARY: As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be directly involved in the assessment of children/adolescents and their families referred to the service. To provide a specialist assessment and therapeutically appropriate intervention service to children and young people and their families with mental health difficulties To provide a high-quality service, to children and young people and their families To offer advice/support/consultation to non-professional carers and professional colleagues working with children and young people with mental health difficulties To interface effectively in a multidisciplinary/agency environment, including statutory, voluntary and independent sector organisations.KEY RESULT AREAS / YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working within one of the Step 3 and Step 4 CAMHS services (Including CAMHS Step 3, Eating Disorder Team, DAMHS, Single Point of Contact and the Crisis Team).
  • To provide specialist assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, for children and young people referred to the service in a multi-agency context including the provision of advice
  • Adhere to established Board and Trust Policies/Procedures and assures their implementation.
  • Is accountable at all times for maintaining of Standards of Care in relation to professional practice and to be responsible for the management of a caseload
  • Participate in the approved system of staff development and performance review.
  • Participate in relevant professional research and other activities designed to maintain or improve the quality of care.
37.5 Monday to Friday£30 Per Hour Paid WeeklyKey Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Social Work
Up To date NISCC registrationFull driving licence and access to your own car.Up-to-date CV including Full Work History37.5 Full time Hours Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £30.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
