Job Description

1 Year fixed term (Full time)My client are a well-established fit-out firm that are currently looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their office on a 12 month temporary contract with an immediate start. You will report directly to the CEO when joining this excellent family run business which specialises in the Hotel, Residential, Office & Retail Sectors.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day activities of the finance team.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and managing present business cash flow.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of each department.
  • Manage the financial reporting for all other owner entities and perform intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure appropriate financial procedures, controls and structures are in place.
  • Completion of statutory returns to relevant government bodies.
  • Responsible for the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for external auditors.
  • Oversee tax compliance of company and other linked companies, to include VAT, CIS and employment taxes.
  • Contribute towards an overall company culture of sharing information and knowledge where there is a focus on solving issues as a team.

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent IT Skills (Excel and Microsoft office
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a finance environment at senior manager level
    • Desirable
  • Previous experience of working in Construction/Fitout.
  • Proficient in Sage
