Our client are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Cleaner to join their team to ensure that the plating shop is kept in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to the 6-s standard, ensuring platinum waste is segregated ready for reclaim.The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a welcoming environment through good hygiene. Were looking for a cleaning specialist who will exceed our expectations, ensuring that all meeting rooms are sparkling, floors are spotless and rubbish is removedon schedule. The right candidate will be given all the support they need to excel.Hours of work are continentals days, 6am6pm.Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a high-quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning surfaces. Clean Plating cell, XRF rooms/Post plate review area & masking cell to 6s standard. Vacuum floors remove phosphate, plating solution etc. Wipe all surfaces, sweep and mop the floors. Remove phosphate from extraction following HSE procedures. Cleaning stock level maintenance - Keep stock of chemicals and cleaning products, re-order from stores when required. Must keep cleaning items separate and understand cross contamination. Key Competencies: The ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision. Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities. Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects. Clean, designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom and locker rooms. Restocking supplies from stores and taking control of the cleaning function. Carry out special cleaning tasks as required. Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs. Make adjustments and minor repairs. Cooperate with the rest of the staff and engage with the workforce. Follow all health and safety regulations. Able to handle floor scrubbing machines and polishers.
