Do you have a maintenance background with good electro-mechanical skills We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Facilities Technician to join a clothing company based at their 500,000 sq ft premises near Mansfield.This is a permanent role working Sunday 10am-8pm (1000-2000) & Monday to Wednesday 12pm-10pm (1200-2200) with a starting salary of £26,500 per annum rising to £27,500 per annum upon successful probationary period. Excellent benefits are on offer including paid overtime, pension, staff discounts, medical package and 21 days + bank holidays increasing with length of service.As Maintenance Facilities Technician, you will work in a team of 3, supporting the site with day to day maintenance and its infrastructure. You will monitor and maintain major operating equipment including belt conveyor systems, and advisemechanical safety and best practice with this equipment to maximise availability and assist in minimizing wear, damage or costs where possible. This will include carrying out PPM and ensuring maintenance records are kept up to date.You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the building in general and will get involved in tasks such as shutter door repairs, fire extinguisher testing, lighting, testing of sprinkler systems, meter readings, grounds maintenance, rodding drains andsignings/ markings for vehicles and pedestrians.We are keen to hear from applicants with previous maintenance experience in either a manufacturing or building trade capacity with good electro-mechanical skills. You will have the desire to develop your skills further as this company are happy to put you through your 18th Edition company funded.
