Job Description

Maintenance EngineerMultiple positions available Full time, PermanentBased in Annesley Our client who works and operates in a state of the art facility in Annesley are looking to bring in more Maintenance Engineers to help support the new shift rotation. The Maintenance Team on site are already at a good size in double figures so support andtraining on their bespoke equipment will be provided. Shifts available

  • Continental day shift 6am to 6pm 3 days on 3 days off and repeat.
  • Continental day & night shift 6am to 6pm 3 days on 3 days off then 6pm6am 3 nights on 3 days off then repeat shift back on days
Ideal Maintenance background
  • Mutli-Skilled on both mechanical and electrical issues
  • Faulting on PLCs (programming not required)
  • Working safely with single & three-phase power
  • Working within safety protocols such as LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
  • Happy working in a team environment
Job Purpose:
  • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly;
  • Carrying out quality inspections on jobs;
  • Liaising with various operation departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues;
  • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
  • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
  • Improving health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery running programs for process;
  • Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
