Job Description

  • Full Warehouse Site Responsibility Goods In & Dispatch
Client DetailsMy Client are a growing Manufacturing and Logistics Business based in Ammanford.They run a busy operations covering the Manufacturing, Logistics distribution and supply chain sector.DescriptionThe Warehouse Manager - Manufacturing Environment will be responsible for;
  • Manage the logistics department as per company strategy
  • Report on the logistics KPIs, quantities, labour hours and shipments
  • Manage the administration of inbound and outbound movements
  • Minimise logistics employee absence, provide at all times, the required loading capacity to execute the scheduled shipments in time
  • Receiving / storage for the manufacturing units in the site
  • Service Management, single point of contact / ownership Logistics
  • Leadership & management of all logistics staff
  • Deliver on customer commitments in terms of deliveries on time & in full
  • Establish & manage a LEAN approach to Logistics
  • Set and achieve cost targets / budgets to meet standard costs
  • Install the ethos of continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the safety behaviour and safety results of employees
ProfileThe Warehouse Manager will have the following skills and experiences:
  • A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
  • A minimum of 3+ years Warehousing & Logistics management experience.
  • Have managed in excess of 10+ heads indirectly previously.
  • Experience in PHARMA/ MANUFACTURING/ 3PL / Food / FMCG environments will be considered advantageous.
  • IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous.
  • Have experience of LEAN methodologies.
  • Experience on managing budgets.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be results driven.
  • Be commutable to Ammanford
Job OfferThe successful Warehouse Manager will receive;Salary - £35,000 - £40,000PensionLife Assurance25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
