Senior Care AssistantSt Clears £9.50 per hourOur client, a reputable care provider in Carmarthenshire, is looking for a fantastic Senior Care Assistant work in their small, friendly elderly care home. Your role will be to provide support and care to the 15 residents, whilst providing guidance to the Care Assistants and supervising shifts. You will be involved in all aspects of the successful running of a care home including, but not exclusive to, providing personal care, assisting with mealtimes, administering medication, adhering to care plans and writing reports. You will promote and encourage independence, dignity and care. About you:- To apply for this role, you must have a Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care or equivalent.- You will have experience of working a care home or similar setting. - You must be organised, have effective time-management skills and must be an excellent team player. - A cheerful outlook and friendly manner is crucial for this role.- The successful applicant will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure Barring and Service check, registered with the online update service. Although, this is not required for application. - Being a driver with access to a vehicle is essential due to the location of the home.
