What is great about the roleThe Complex Needs Project Worker role will support the Manager with facilitating Young Person goal plans and will work extensively with them to advise on re-housing options. You will make referrals to other agencies in relation to temporary and permanentaccommodation in conjunction with our resettlement team. Liaise with Social Services, Benefits Agencies, Housing Department, Resettlement Worker, Health and Safety and other relevant agencies, on matters affecting prospective and current clients of the service.Part of your role will be to promote mental health recovery and seek treatment and recovery for substance misuse where applicable.Manage incidents and crisis calmly and effectively, being responsible for undertaking the wellbeing and Health and Safety checks for the young people and building.We strive to ensure that everyone we support receives the very best support to enable and empower them to regain control of their life and to sustain their independence. This a challenging role and you may be faced with complex situations and difficult behavioursand needs, so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental. No 2 days are the same and it is especially rewarding when you see an individuals development and they move on into their own tenancy.Due to this being a new service we are looking to recruit a Part Time, 32 hours per week staff member to join our new TeamThe exact salary for 32 hours per week role is £21,299The Successful candidate will be expected to work on a rolling shift pattern which would involve: Days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (additional payment of £34.54 for each sleep-in shift) For this role you will complete 7 sleep-ins, in a 4-week period,which we estimate as £2,901 extra per year. Including one long weekend off in four (Fri, Sat & Sun).*Yearly income will be around £24,200 including sleep ins for 32 hoursThis role requires an enhanced DBS which we will pay for.It is essential for the successful candidate to have access to a car, have a full drivers licence, and be happy to transport customers in their car.We offer a holiday entitlement of 26 daysannual leaveplus bank holidays, sick pay, and excellent pension optionsOther benefits include:
