Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressingand assisting with meals.Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart. Its about making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether youre helping someone with limitedmobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, youll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.Safeguarding is everyones responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are requiredto attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas.
