Job Description

Adults Learning Disabilities Support WorkerUp to £11 p/h (PAYE) + holiday pay + pension contribution + benefitsZero-hour, part time and full-time hours availableYour role will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities to enable them to live independently and will have the opportunity to support individuals alongside permanent staff AND/OR on a 1:1 basis with the individual(s) depending on the service.You will be responsible in supporting various different needs including personal care, financial, social, communication and recreational where you can make a real difference. You will also encourage individuals to learn new skills and help them get out intothe community and aid to meet their individual needs.We work with various organisations and therefore different levels of needs and training is required. Where some services have more challenging behaviour, PBM is often required. Ideally you will have in-date training with a certificate, however we regularlyhave training held for PBM, manual handling, medication and more so can get you trained up to explore other opportunities.Why choose agency with BS Social CareAgency offers flexibility around your busy lifestyle, to pick up as many or little shifts as and when you wish. To work with us, you will need:
  • 6 months UK paid, hands-on experience OR recently undertaken training (with certificates)
  • To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
  • Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable: DBS on the update service
