Summary We are looking for a Volunteering & Community Manager to join our team at Dunham Massey. This key leadership role is at the heart of growth and development for our Children & Young People offer and ambitions to be more inclusive and diverse. Youll managecommunity engagement and partnerships, working with the rest of the Property Leadership Team and their departments. Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford, gave it to the National Trust in 1976 and today it attracts over 500,000 visitors a year.This elegant Georgian mansion, set within a magnificent 300 acre deer park and including one of Britains finest winter gardens, is a very popular visitor attraction with over 100 staff. The busy team has a strong commercial focus and a fast-paced environment.Within the park walls there is also a shop, caf, restaurant and ice cream parlour. On the wider estate, there are 20 farms, 100 cottages, a golf course and an award winning housing development. The house, garden and parkland hide many layers of history andhave many stories to tell. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Reporting to the General Manager youll work in partnership with the property leadership team to strategically plan, implement, and evolve volunteering and our work with communities. Coaching colleagues to increase their confidence and capability and creatinga positive, flexible and inclusive environment for volunteers, communities and partners.Youll support the General Manager to develop an inclusive culture and embed the Everyone Welcome priorities.Were a busy property and all staff members work on a rota basis including regular weekends and bank holidays.
