Job Description

City and County Healthcare Group is the largest provider of community-based social care services in the UK. Every day tens of thousands of people with care needs are supported to continue living independently at home by our operating companies.Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team in the IT Services Department for an IT Change Manager. This role is responsible for the change management process and adoption outcomes across all IT and technology change programmes. Delivering change management solutions, measurement and enabling benefits realisation of all related projects.Key Duties:

  • Apply a structured methodology through change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of changes required by a project or initiative
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of change communications
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs related to the technology programme and change / adoption requirements
  • Complete change management assessments and develop change strategies
  • Identify, analyse and deliver change risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change and slow change or adoption issues
  • Consult and coach project, development and support teams on change strategies
  • Create actionable deliverables and plans for key areas of change including- communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training, and resistance mitigation.
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Track and report issues on a weekly / monthly basis
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Support change management at the organisational level
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with change management principles, methodologies and tools (Kotter, Lewin etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills with active listening and the clear ability to articulate messages
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others to move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations with resilience, tenacity and the ability to persevere
  • Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation- must be a team player and able to work collaboratively
  • Acute business acumen with understanding of organisational challenges
  • Familiarity with project management methodology, tools and project lifecycles
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
  • Excellent operational problem-solving skills with a flexible mindset
  • Ability to lead meetings and give coherent and confident presentations to colleagues and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to maintain pleasant relationships with colleagues, direct reports and upper management at all times even during high stress incidents and periods.
  • In additions, experience of working in reasonably complex people centric business environment such as retail, healthcare, recruitment etc. would be advantageous.City and County Healthcare Group are an equal opportunities employer.
