A fast-growing InsurTech company is looking to find a Information Security Analyst to join the team as it enters an exciting phase of growth.A vibrant company with a warm office environment and an engaging forward-thinking company ethos will offer a fantastic place to continue to develop your career.Knowledge and Experience: Applicants will have a technical background with at least 5 years exposure to IT administration, IT operations, and IT security and at least 2 years exposure to InfoSec/Cyber security Experience in security controls and managing information security risks within public cloud infrastructure/services - Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Proven experience working in an IT/Infosec role, preferably within a high growth technology driven environment Knowledge of current security threats and trends; exposure and/or appreciation of root causes of cyber-attack methodologies e.g. e-mail phishing, malware, data breaches, etc Fundamentals of data protection (e.g. GDPR) Working under an InfoSec policy framework (e.g. to IOS 27001 standards) Exposure to payment services technologies Experience implementing and/or maintaining formal best practice information security compliance or certification (e.g., PCI DSS and SOC2 type2)Competencies: Analytical skills and an ability to analyse technical information to identify patterns and trends Maintain a current understanding of common vulnerabilities and appropriate remediation Documenting operational and security problems within IT service management systems Information risk management Workload prioritisation managementYou will be responsible for the following: Helping to manage and maintain our ISMS ensuring they remain ISO27001 certified Evaluate Documentation and improve existing security controls. Identify risk in business processes. Review supply-chain risk assessments. Collaborate with IT colleagues. Manage and monitor security tools within the clients environment ensuring that devices and services are monitored from an information security standpoint Help in the management and escalation of security incidents/breaches; working in cross functional teams Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, liaising with various specialists, groups and managers throughout the organisation.If this sounds of interest please get in touch!
