1st Line SupportAltrincham£18,000- £22,000A 1st Line Support Analyst is required for our client based in Altrincham. The successful candidate will be providing 1st line support and will be the first point of contact for all IT related requests via the helpdesk. You will ensure all requests are logged,prioritised and assigned to the appropriate team member capturing all information accurately.Key Responsibilities Daily use of the IT ticketing system to manage 1st line support tasks Day to day housekeeping of all systems within the business General hardware maintenance Laptop Deployments Assist in the roll out and effective implementation of IT policy and procedureExperience Required: General IT background Support remote offices outside local time zone and outside core working hours Management of 3rd party vendors Experience of remote access Experience of working within a helpdesk roleEssential Criteria Basic to Intermediate understanding of IT Full Driving license required Good command of the English languageDesirable Criteria Another Language Travel Experience HP server knowledge Knowledge of payroll systemsTechnical requirements of the role: Microsoft Office suite 365 Windows OS Win10 WAN - A basic understanding of Cisco/Sonic Firewalls/ Meraki Stack DMZ zones LAN - A basic understanding of core networking, Cat6 cabling (patch panels), managed switches, telephony VOIP Microsoft updates, Back-up Software/understanding Laptop Deployments using MDT Knowledge of command line/ PowerShell General printer maintenance/set up Good knowledge of iOS and mobile phone support
