Job Description

Our client is a well-established and growing company with a dynamic, progressive and employee centric environment. As a Sales Account Manager you will be an integral part of a successful sales team,support reseller activities and assist in the development of the channel through existing and new partnerships.As the Sales Account Manager you will:

  • Manage key account vendor relationships, with strong negotiation and margin management skills.
  • Help create end user opportunities
  • Become a trusted advisor to the sales teams.
  • Promote products and services across all levels of the customers business.
  • Train and enable team members to increase sales
  • Manage key account relationships alongside the Account Managers
  • Work closely with the internal & external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings.
  • Proactively work with marketing teams to:
  • Recruit, enable and drive new resellers, Develop lead generation programs and Implement sales & technical training programs
  • Accurately forecast business and progress.
  • Support vendor focused activities, such as end user events and focus days
  • Form, build and manage relationships and network effectively
  • Clearly articulate value proposition to suit the audience, for example technical, commercial or financial
  • Liaising with internal departments e.g: Operations, sales, technical consultants, in order to fulfill customer needs, such as arranging demonstrations, organising quotes, logistics and customer risk management.
  • The Ideal Sales Account Manager will:
  • Have experience in IT Channel Sales Ideally Cloud technology
  • Be highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to your workload
  • Be target orientated and keen to develop new business and grow relationships
  • Work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Be analytical with good attention to detail, be commercially aware, proactive, responsive and efficient.
  • This is an internal role but some travel will be required
