Job Description

ParaplannerLocation: Alton, East HampshireJob Type: Full-time / Permanent Due to growth and progression within the department we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our clients dynamic team. The Paraplanner will play a crucial role in supporting their financial advisors by conducting in-depth financialanalysis, preparing financial plans, and assisting in the development and maintenance of client relationships. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial planning, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for helping clients achievetheir financial objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial advisors to gather client information and understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, investment portfolio reviews, retirement planning, and risk assessment.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive financial plans for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and analyse investment options, insurance products, and other financial instruments to support the development of client portfolios.
  • Prepare client presentations and reports that clearly communicate complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to the financial advisors and clients.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of investment strategies and financial plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
About You:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, investment analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and tax considerations.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial planning software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
